Best CMS System & How to Create Website with CMS

If you want your website to keep going strongly, you need to update contents on it periodically, for which you can use a CMS system. The most commonly used CMS systems are these 3: Joomla, Drupal and WordPress. From my own experience the best CMS system is WordPress. It's a completely free CMS software (open source). I'm using it on many websites and the WP admin panel is really easy to work with. Also, there are hundreds of plugins available for WordPress to enhance your CMS website. I definitely recommend you to try WordPress to build your website.

Here's a short tutorial with some useful links on how to make a website using the CMS WordPress.

1) Choose Web Hosting for WordPress & Install WordPress

I personally recommend you to use BlueHost. It is a great Wordpress web host and they also recommend it on the official WordPress.org website as the #1 Wordpress web hosting provider. The BlueHost Control Panel also has SimpleScripts, which is a feature that enables you to install WP with just one click. Check my step-by-step tutorial on how to Install WordPress Using SimpleScripts.

3) Upload a WordPress Template

For quality WordPress themes I recommend you to check out my website wpmix.com on which you will find many free themes that I have designed. Also check out the top 3 premium WP CMS templates that will redirect you to cheap and very nice premium WordPress themes websites. Or you can also hire me to design a custom WordPress theme for you. If you need help on how to use WordPress, I recommend you to search for some videos on YouTube. There are many good ones.

What is CMS (Content Management System)?

A static content is a negative feature for any website. Therefore, the Content Management System software has come as a boon because it can help in updating the contents on a website. This software also allows myriad number of people to contribute and share the stored data on the site. If you use this software, storing and retrieving data on and from your site are quite easy. The communication between the users is also facilitated with the help of CMS.  This software not only helps in storing and controlling contents but also in revising the existing data. It serves as a central repository also with which the version level of an existing file can be increased.

I can show you an example of a CMS (WordPress) powered website of mine: Cool Cars Videos. This WordPress website looks more like a blog, as I'm just posting on it some car videos from YouTube.

I hope you find my short CMS tutorial helpful.

Good luck with your new CMS website!
